Beaver Creek Area

Beaver Creek is a perfect ski mountain for all types of skiers and offers terrain from beautiful beginner runs to gnarly off piste glades. A perfect place to learn, as the Beaver Creek ski school is famed for its instruction. But, Beaver Creek is not only perfect in the winter, it gets even better in the summer with the ample amounts of hiking terrain, culinary festivals and free live music. So, now you are convinced to come for a visit... how do you find a place to stay? A few thoughts on this subject.

Budget

Budget

It is very important that you are realistic with your budget and expectations of what your budget will offer. There are lodging options for most budgets, however I will repeat- you must be realistic with what your budget can afford. Don’t expect to get a slopeside room for 8 people over Christmas week for $300 per night. It just won’t happen. In fact, not much is available for that price over Christmas week so adjust according to your budget.

Location

Location

Now that you have determined your budget and expectations accordingly, seek out a location that may suit you the best. Several different neighborhoods surround Beaver Creek and much of what you decide will be dependent upon… budget. Since you already have that figured out, it should not be a problem! Beaver Creek offers a free shuttle throughout its gate, as well as free parking at the base. For convenience, there are 2 paid parking structures at the base of the mountain. They fill up quickly in the winter, so your best bet is getting up early.
