Getting To and Around Copper Mountain

Getting Around

Located 100 miles West of Denver International Airport and 52 Miles East of Eagle, Copper Mountain is very easy to get to. It is a straight shot on Interstate 70. If you are coming from Denver International Airport, take Peña Blvd to Interstate 70 west and travel for about 1hr 40mins to exit #195 to Copper Rd.

There are also several shuttle services available directly from Denver International Airport, or Eagle County Airport.

Center Village

Center Village

The Center Village is Copper Mountain’s main base village area.  It boasts the closest proximity to most of Copper’s restaurant and shops as well as the day care for younger children.  Center Village also sits at the base of 2 of the high speed quad lifts accessing the beginner and intermediate terrain.  Because of its size and close proximity Center Village is a great choice for families.

East Village

East Village

The East Village is on the smaller side and tends to skew more towards the adult skier as it is located near the Expert access lifts.  Because of the small size of Copper’s Village, accessing dining and shops is a short shuttle ride away.

Union Creek

Union Creek

Home of Copper Mountain’s Ski School, Union Creek has access to all of the beginner terrain.  Although Union Creek is not a “village” it does offer a more reserved option for a quieter vacation.  Still accessible to Center Village via shuttle.
