Copper Mountain Area

Area

Copper is a beautiful vision for any snow sport enthusiast.  What makes Copper Mountain so unique is its direct accessibility to and from Denver. You get on the highway in Denver, and off the highway at Copper Mountain.  Although it is small in its base village, Copper is huge in its skiing terrain.  Perfect for any type of skier and can accommodate any type of budget for lodging. So, now you are convinced to come for a visit... how do you find a place to stay?  A few thoughts on this subject.

Budget

Budget

It is very important that you are realistic with your budget and expectations of what your budget will offer.  There are lodging options for most budgets, however I will repeat- you must be realistic with what your budget can afford.  Don’t expect to get a slopeside room for 8 people over Christmas week for $300 per night.  It just won’t happen.  In fact, not much is available for that price over Christmas week so adjust according to your budget.

Location

Location

Now that you have determined your budget and expectations accordingly, seek out a location that may suit you the best.  Copper Mountain is a smaller resort and offers great options for lodging.  Most of the places you find will be within close proximity to the slopes.  There isn’t a bad place to stay in Copper.

Accomodation Type and Size

Accomodation Type and Size

What do you really need?  Our properties offer plenty of options for sleeping.  Some of our 4BR homes can sleep up to 14 people.  Does this work for you?  Does everyone really need their own bed? Are you okay with bunk beds? Truly understand what you are looking for during your mountain vacation.  This clarity will help you locate the best place for you and your group. Once you have all of that figured out, finding your perfect home away from home will be easy.
