The drive into Sun Valley is an easy drive because it is accessible from a few different highways: Interstates 84 & 86, U.S. Highways 20 & 93, and state highway 75. I-84 is the best way to reach Sun Valley from the northwest and southeast while connecting to U.S. Highway 20 or 93 depending on the direction of your travel. I-86 is best used when traveling from the northeast. All roads will ultimately lead up to state highway 75 which takes you to Sun Valley. However, the best way to travel to Sun Valley is by flying directly to the closest airport and renting a car or grabbing a shuttle to your final destination.

There is no need for a car in Sun Valley! The town is a complete walking village and the easiest way to get from the airport to your vacation hotel or rental is by a shuttle or cab. The city offers a free shuttle ride to the ski mountains and there is also a public transit line for a small fee. All in all it is esy to get around town and save money by walking!
