Hilton Head Bike Trails

Hilton Head Activity

I think we can safely say that Hilton Head Island is one of the best places on the planet to go biking. The island 60 miles of trails through shaded, paved pathways through peaceful nature that anyone with a bike can appreciate - be you an experienced avid cyclist, amateur, or beginner. Many of these trails are flat and concrete, so visitors young and old can safely ride. More rigorous trails are available to those who are up for a bit more of a challenge. On or off the trail, pretty much the entire island is very bike accessible. Almost everyewhere you go you'll see a bike lane or other bike-friendly path. When you want to relax after a long afternoon of cycling, you can bike on down to one of its fine beaches. And when you get hungry, you can bike to a good restaurant. Anywhere else you may want to go on the island, you can bike there!

Hilton Head Activity

Shelter Cove Marina is a great place to kick back. It is the largest and best marina on the island. It feautures a harbour and waterfront, perfect for an evening walk. There are many boats and yachts on display, as well as some you can rent yourself. Boat rides are fun. Beautiful atmosphere. There is no shortage of shops and restautants (both fine dining and casual) in what they call a "Mediterranean-style" village.
