Deer Valley Snow Park / Solamere Area

Park City Area

Snow Park area of Deer Valley is the home of the majority of the big condos and large homes. This is also a very popular area to stay when coming for Sundance Film Festival because of the proximity to Main Street. Always consider Snow Park Area when wanting convenience to Main Street and want a big home but do not want to pay top dollar. Snow Park Area is not that far from Historic Main Street of Park City. Ski School meets at the base of Snow Park so prepare to get them there another way if not staying in Snow Park Area for quick easy access.

Park City Historic Main Street / Town Lift Area

Park City Area

Park City Main Street has got to be the number one requested location in the area, which means the availability goes quick especially for events like Sundance Film Festival. Do not plan on a 3 or 4 night stay during Sundance within walking distance to Main Street. Main Street is where the majority of the nightlife, shops and restaurants are located and is a great place to stay just very limited to no parking at a lot of the properties. The Park City Trolley runs up and down Park City Main Street year round and the transit center for the free city bus is around the corner to get you anywhere else you want to go. The Town Chairlift accesses mid mountain and has a high intermediate run to come back down to Main Street area if you do not want to ride it down.

Park City Mountain Resort Base Area

Park City Area

Park City Mountain Resort Area has the ice skating rink, alpine slides, alpine coaster, zip lines, kid rides and other activities during the summer. The Mountain Resort Area is also where the ski school meets and is the best access to Park City Mountain Resort. Park City Mountain Resort. The big skier parking lots are at this base facility and the Park City bus stops right in front of the ice skating rink. When staying near the PC Resort Area you are also placing you in the best central location to everything to see and do as well.

Park City Silver Star Area

 Park City Area

Silver Star is a beautiful property with it's own access to the Park City Mountain Resort by chairlift which anyone can use even if staying somewhere else. The property is just around the corner from the Park City Golf Course which is turned into the Cross Country Ski Course during the winter months.

Park City Park Meadows and Prospector Square Areas

Park City Area

Park City Park Meadows and Prospector square areas are anywhere from 1.5 miles to 4 miles from the Park City base area, 4 to 6 to Canyons Resort and 4 to 6 miles from Deer Valley Ski Resort. Some of the biggest bangs for the buck are found in these areas and yet still close to everything. Some of the properties located in these areas are on the free city bus line but I would recommend a vehicle.

Canyons Resort Area

Park City Area

Canyons Resort which was once Park West then Wolf Mountain then The Canyons before finalizing on a name with Vail Resorts is undergoing a huge face lift and has been for the past 10 to 15 years with high quality lodging and mountain expansions which made it Utah's largest Mountain Resort. Canyons and Park City are now connecting by gondola which makes them combined the largest Mountain Resort in the United States. Epic Pass Holders Dream Resort with a great variety of terrain and back country skiing access.

Park City New Park / Kimball Junction Area

Park City Area

Park City's New Park and Kimball Junction Area is the exit you take to head to the resorts off of I-80 coming from either Salt Lake City Area or from the Evanston, Wyoming direction. There is all sorts of new condominiums, hotels, shopping, restaurants and the Utah Olympic Sports Park located in this area as well as the Bear Hollow Project which is actually in between Canyons Resort and the New Park Area. Great lodging deals and still within minutes of the Park City Resorts.
