Gulf State Park

Come visit the Gulf State Park Fishing and Education Pier, which is the largest pier on the Gulf of Mexico and great for fishing and sunset watching. Explore the Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail, which offers 25 miles of paved trails for walking or biking (bike rentals are available).

The Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo is home to more than 600 exotic animals including lions, tigers, macaws, reptiles, kangaroos, lemurs, and sloths to name just a few.
