MacKerricher State Park

Known as a habitat for several rare plant species and a great place to observe whales, MarKerricher State Park is a great spot to walk around and is a lovely pet-friendly park just north of town. The state park also offers a variety of habitats; beach, bluff, headland, dune, forest, and wetland. Along the shore, tide pools can also be seen, as well as a couple of seals on the rocks off the park’s coastline!
