About

Orick, California

Orick is the gateway to Redwood National Park and Redwood State Park. This is the perfect base camp to get out and explore some of the largest and oldest trees in the world and the primeval fern canyon, setting of Jurassic Park II.

Drive, hike, or take a guided horseback tour through the parks, or get on one of the many nearby lagoons for fishing, kayaking, sailing and swimming. Keep an eye out for tons of wildlife, including the regal Roosevelt Elk. Outdoor lovers will find plenty to do in the area!
