Detailed Information
Established January 12, 1895, Parc national du Mont-Tremblant celebrates its 127th anniversary in 2022. The 1,510km2 large territory enjoys international stature being the first park created in Quebec, the 3rd in Canada and the 6th in North America. It is therefore part of the world history of protected areas alongside the parks of Yellowstone, Yosemite and Sequoia. With its six large rivers, its 400 lakes and streams, it is a real paradise for canoeists! The presence of 40 species of mammals, including the wolf, testifies to the wild nature of the territory and its vastness.
