Fish Creek Falls

Fish Creek Falls is a 280 foot waterfall located right on the edge of town, and handicap accessible. A paved and mostly very flat path leads from the parking area to a couple of overlook areas and picnic tables. Walk an easy ¼ mile down a gravel path from the parking area to reach the splash zone of this natural beauty. Interested in breaking a sweat? Hike past the splash zone to the Upper Fish Creek Falls. The trail skirts the northern side of the Steamboat Ski Resort, known as “the canyon” and will take about 3 hours over 4.3 miles to reach the second falls. Winter guests can still visit the falls, which are a beautiful spot for guided ice climbing. Whatever the season, this is a favorite for young and old.
