Welcome to the Conch Republic! Key West is the last island in the Florida Keys island chain, and features the southernmost point in the continental United States. Key West’s locals are known for being a bit kooky, and willing to find any reason to celebrate! There’s even a party for the sunset every night, and we can see why, it’s beautiful.

Writers have always loved Key West. It was a favorite spot for Earnest Hemingway, who loved to fish, drink at Sloppy Joe’s, and spend time with the island’s many cats. His house on Key West is open for tours and is also a sanctuary for many island cats to this day.
