About

Corolla, North Carolina

Corolla is a popular and adorable beach town on the northern end of the Outer Banks in North Carolina. This charming beachside community is best known for its protected packs of wild horses who populated the island during Spanish shipwrecks during the Colonial Era. You can drive your own vehicle on the 4-wheel beach and see these beautiful creatures for yourself!

The Outer Banks are also known for their sand dunes. Take a trip down to Jockey’s Ridge State Park and hike, take a hang-gliding lesson, fly a kite, or go sand boarding! Fishing is also a popular Outer Banks activity, whether you charter a deep-sea fishing trip, crab off of a dock, or simply cast your line out from the beach.
