The Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge is perfect for you.\u00a0Speaking of gorgeous, the bridge itself is quite the looker. Beautifully crafted and cable-stayed, you could say it\u2019s a work of modern art. Middleton Place is a jaw-dropping plantation across from the Ashley River. Its expansive green field features a beautiful 65-acre garden, which has been called \u201cthe most important and most interesting garden in America\u201d. The building which now houses the House Museum was built in 1755 as guest quarters. Here, you can learn the history of the estate, the family which has lived on the plantation for many generations, and the slave trade. You will see artifacts, such as portraits and furniture, silver, china, documents, and other belongings of the family. Tours are offered daily.<\/p>\n

Charleston Waterfront Park<\/strong><\/p>\n

Perfect place for an afternoon picnic or a relaxing evening stroll. This 12-acre park offers a great view of the harbor, floral gardens, and two large fountains.
