Ruggedly beautiful Whidbey Island is located in Puget Sound, just north of Seattle. The scenic landscape features farms, hills, and beaches. In the north, you can hike the terrific forest trails in iconic Deception Pass State Park, which will lead you to stunning cliff top views, or you can head south and visit the lighthouse at Fort Casey Historical State Park.

There’s also plenty to do in town! Be sure to check out the local boutiques, visit the art galleries, and explore the food scene. Whidbey Island is known for its fresh seafood. Its mussels are particularly popular!
