Lookout Tavern

Lookout Tavern
2910 Killington Rd, Killington, Vermont 05751

The Lookout Tavern’s name is an homage to the view, and the lookout from the restaurant and bar’s seasonal deck – where guests can perch during the three warmer seasons (that’s spring, summer and fall) for views of the town and the valley.

The food is good (and reasonable) and the atmosphere is fun, from the peanut shells that blanket the floor like a new-fallen snow to the beer coozies, race bibs and license plates hanging from the walls and ceiling. Although they sell a lot of their 100% Angus beef burgers, the burrito is what the owner says he’d order.

The Lookout is high energy, a place where skiers and non-skiers come together to nosh on upscale bar food and sip craft beers and cocktails, tossing the shells of free peanuts on the floor. (Hence the new-fallen snow.)
